Molly
Schmid, daughter of the famous painter Richard Schmid, was raised in a
home infused with classical painting, music, and literature.
Though undoubtedly touched by the work of her father, the artist
Richard Schmid, Molly steadfastly pursued her own style and outlook.
Today, as both painter
and creative designer, Molly brings a fresh gift to the world of art.
A New Englander by birth, Molly now resides in Northern Florida.
She graduated from Florida State University, magna cum laude, with
a degree in fine art. Although
Molly initially worked in creative design, she now concentrates solely on
painting. Molly Schmid is
already renown for her portraiture, still life, and wildlife art.
Her work has been commissioned throughout the United States and
Canada. Molly Schmid
paintings also reside in the many private, corporate and museum
collections.
